Real-time data monitoring is a process that allows an administrator to review, evaluate and adjust the addition, deletion, modification and use of data in software, databases or systems. This process allows data administrators to monitor all operations and functions performed on the data in real time or as they happen. This is usually done via graphical representations such as charts and bars on a central user interface or dashboard. This allows anomalies, performance issues and critical events to be quickly identified.

Real-time monitoring provides zero or low latency information transfer, resulting in minimal delays between data collection and analysis. It is critical for network system maintenance, regulatory laboratory compliance and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) management. Real-Time Data Monitoring is a key tool for immediate responsiveness and effective data management.
