"SYMESTIC gives us end-to-end real-time transparency that we did not have in this form before. We can react faster, run our processes more reliably and, with a clean data foundation, lay the groundwork for future AI-driven use cases."

Thorsten Manns Technical Director · Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg

Before SYMESTIC, production data was captured mostly manually on paper or in isolated point solutions — with a gap between ERP and shop floor, and correspondingly late reactions to downtime.

In a hands-on workshop directly at the line, the first machine was connected, data points defined and dashboards configured live. Today shop-floor data capture, machine data capture and OEE are integrated bidirectionally with the ERP InforCOM — shift leads and production management see machine lines, shifts and orders in one shared view.

"With SYMESTIC we were finally able to scale a solution that works across all of our plants — from pilot to series production."

Oscar González Managing Director · Group Strategy & Digitalization Director · Meleghy Automotive

The rollout started in 2023 at the Wilnsdorf plant on a press line with several Schuler presses. From day one, cycle times, part counts and downtime were visible in real time on the large display on the shop floor.

Six months later, SYMESTIC was running productively across all four plants in Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic and Hungary — connected to SAP R/3 via ABAP IDoc, to CASQ-it for quality sampling, and with consistent KPIs across all locations.
